Advanced Thermal Management
Effective thermal management is key to realizing the advantages of LED lighting. The operating temperature of the LED largely impacts the lighting color and the overall lifetime.
CooLED technology is a high performance LED cooling solution, designed for linear LED light modules. CooLED technology features a low profile fabricated from high grade extruded aluminium, which minimizes thermal resistance from the base to the fins. Once the heat enters the PCB, it is conducted to the backside for dissipation into the ambient for natural convection. The spread fin array maximizes the surface area for more effective convection (air) cooling and reduces LED temperatures by more than 50%.

LED Technology
LIGHTperMETER takes the following 5 main factors into consideration when selecting the components and the design of its luminaires.
(1) Colour rendering | It’s about how accurately the different colours show up.
(2) Colour temperature & colour consistency between LEDs | It’s about the binning and the MacAdam steps.
(3) Uniformity of colour in the beam | It’s about the optics, reflector,…
(4) Colour consistency & thermal management | It’s about the fact that LEDs have different colours at different temperatures – about the junction temperature of its system.
(5) Colour over time | It’s about the promised lifetime. How does the source looks like after 50.000 hours.

LIGHTperMETER luminaires offer a wide variety of mudules which enable long run lengths to be simple, easy to install and highly cost effective. All profiles are sawn – free of charge – at the requiered length.
